Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program – Business Stream

The Government of Prince Edward Island (PEI), also called the “Island Investment Development Inc. (IIDI),” attracts foreign nationals with extensive management or business-ownership experience
who would like to own and operate their own business in PEI. This program will be suitable for
applicants who seek a prompt emmigration process and flexible communication with the
government during the process.

The applicant with a paid representative must submit the application through an approved Island
Agent. The Island Agent will support the applicant throughout the emmigration process
(Service fee: C$55,000). Daum Emmigration Corporation cooperates with the most experienced and professional Island Agent.

(1)Program Requirements:

Age 21 ~ 59 years old.
Education Minimum high school graduation.
Work Experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the recent 5 years as senior manager or business owner.
Personal Net Worth C$600,000 at minimum.
Language (English) 4.0 band score under IELTS General Test.
Exploratory Visit to PEI and Interview Mandatory.
Escrow Deposit C$200,000.

(2)Program Process:

- Submit a PEIPNP application.
- Receive a provincial file number.
- Receive an interview invitation letter.
- Complete 5 days’ exploratory visit and attend the interview.
- Submit a business plan.
- Submit an escrow deposit of C$200,000.
- Receive a Nomination Letter.
- Submit an emmigration application to Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Canada.
- Receive an emmigration file number.
- Receive an email confirming the emmigration application from the visa office abroad.
- Undergo a medical examination and pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee.
- Receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence.

(3)Refund Policy on the Escrow Deposit of C$200,000.

▪ C$150,000 is refundable if the applicant operates a qualified business for 1 year in 3 years of landing in PEI.
▪ C$25,000 is refundable if the applicant resides in PEI for at least 92 days over the 6 months since landing in PEI.
▪ C$25,000 is refundable if the applicant resides in PEI for 92 days over the 6~12 months after landing in PEI.
